Warranty Information

 

For all ProNav system purchased AFTER 23rd December 2013 (proof of purchased required)

 

We warrant that your ProNav Navigation System will be free from manufacturing defects and failure, under normal use, for a period of 12 months from when the device was first purchased. During this time we will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any components that fail in normal use. These repairs or replacements will be at no extra cost to the customer on the condition that the customer covers all postage or transportation costs to and from our offices.

 

The warranty is non-transferable and does not cover any products purchased second hand. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear of the device, cosmetic damage (such as scratches and dents), accuracy with the software, damage (caused by; accident, misuse, neglect or misapplication, proximity or exposure to heat, fire, water, other acts of nature or external forces and damage caused by non-compliance with the instructions supplied), if any seals have been broken and when the hardware is opened or tampered with by someone who is not an authorised representative of Navex Limited.

 

Our products are intended to be used as a navigation aid and as such, we make no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of any data, including but not limited to map data, provided as part of the product. We reserve the right to repair or replace (with a new or refurbished product) any product that is still within warranty at its sole discretion.

 

In order for you to return your unit to us for a warranty repair you will require a Return Material Authorisation ("RMA") number. Once an RMA number has been issued (valid for 1 month only) we will instruct you on where to send your ProNav system and what details will need to be included with your ProNav. You will be responsible for all postage and transportation costs to and from our offices. We recommend using a traceable delivery service and the SatNav will still be under the responsibility of the customer until it is received by us. Once we have received the SatNav they will contact the customer to inform them of receipt, and their device will be seen to within 30 days of receipt.

 

Requirements for a warranty return:-

• The RMA number must be included for a return otherwise it could be rejected.
• RMA numbers will only be issued for devices purchased new from a retailer or reseller.
• RMA numbers will not be issued if the SatNav has been purchased second hand or is B graded stock sold at a discount by a retailer.
• A copy of the receipt must be included and attached to the RMA number otherwise it could be rejected.
• If a returned unit contains any kind of damage including water damage and impact damage it will be rejected.

Returning your ProNav

 

To obtain a warranty repair, you must:

We reserve the right to retain any customer product until return postage costs have been fully paid for by the customer. We reserves the right to dispose of any product after possession by us for 6 months or more.

Navex Limited aquired the assetts of Navevo Limited (now ceased trading) on the 23rd December 2013 and unfortuntaley we are not in a position to provide any warranties, returns or replacements for any ProNav's product purchased BEFORE this date. If your ProNav system is part of the current range (and shown within this website - check here) we may be able to assist you but we reserve the right to charge for any repairs or replacement parts that may be required.
